MadeYouASong terms of service
The terms that apply to your MadeYouASong order.
The service
MadeYouASong creates personalised songs and private song pages based on the details you submit in your song brief.
Your content
You are responsible for making sure the names, memories, phrases, and other content you submit are lawful and appropriate for us to use in creating your order. If you upload photos for the Song + Photo Video product, you confirm that you have permission to use those images and that they are appropriate for inclusion in your song page.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service to request unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, or infringing content. You must not request that we directly copy an existing song or imitate a real artist. Any artist or style references you provide are used only to understand the musical feel you are after — they are converted into general musical traits and not used to directly imitate any individual.
Personal-use licence
Unless we agree otherwise, completed songs and pages are provided for personal, non-commercial use as a gift or keepsake. You may share the private page link, download the audio, and send it to the intended recipient.
Digital download consent
Before downloading the audio file, you will be asked to confirm that you want immediate access to the digital content. By agreeing and downloading, you acknowledge that your statutory 14-day cancellation right for that digital download ends once the download starts.
Song page and download availability
Completed song pages and downloads are available for 30 days from delivery. Please download and keep your MP3 before that period ends. After 30 days, we may delete the stored audio file to manage storage while retaining order and payment records for accounting, support, fraud prevention, and tax purposes.
